| | | Among various types of technologies and applications, IPTV has been an increasing focus and still remains a hot topic in recent years. According to the analysis by MIC/FIND research in August 2009, the hot 10 potential consumer services and technology applications of Year 2010 will still surround digital video entertainments related products and services. There was a study from IMS Research, by 06 March 2008, expecting that IPTV households were forecast to grow 52.2% annually though 2012. While the future looks bright on the new broadcast video technology in IPTV with strong market growth yet, there are only a few successful cases around the world. This indicates that IPTV service might take a longer time to be largely implemented, and it’s one of issues we wish to explore in the forum.
