1. Battery operation, hence low standby consumption is important. The RF sniffing structure must be well organized, short wake up time, low standby current.5 v. v8 t% y& c2 D! D5 }# g
2. 2 way audio ability, it means echo cancellation ability is necessary. The IC selected would need a DSP inside or any software base library to address the echo and howling problem.% X7 @2 u( ^8 h- B+ [
3. RF media is 2.4GHz with frequency hopping, the IC selected should have the SPI interface to do the communication. 1 L* V; F( l0 C; a1 A4. The audio input will need an ADC to pick up the signal and with internal codec to compress the audio signal.: A: [. G8 h+ }5 |$ j/ n1 K& ~
