In this paper we present a model-based algorithm for5 w& n: g1 d: O! ?+ N
the estimation of three-dimensional motion parameters ' h9 c1 P- k* S0 O3 ~* ?8 rof an object moving in 3D-space. Photometric 4 B# `$ M6 _4 A0 }2 T( I9 peffects are taken into account by adding different illumination * j% N7 w, V" D' y* q+ umodels to the virtual scene. Using the additional 7 y! U1 E- _7 T$ Oinformation from three-dimensional geometric 3 Y* i1 l6 h6 Y, \: Wmodels of the scene leads to linear algorithms for/ X4 O( S ^% r6 y" c; U8 N
the parameter estimation of the illumination models 0 k, `+ Z a+ H, ^which are all computationally efficient. Experiments u; M7 g, d! Q) S; z6 }show that the Peak Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR) between8 d# J+ f) l: T4 N0 J# P
camera and reconstructed synthetic images can % i; a" ?$ c8 q6 T, Z" Q ibe increased by up to 7 dB compared to global illumination; Z* N7 d$ y! ~' q! P
