The OPM provides the primary operations interface between the ODM factories, development engineering, Marketing/Sales, and our Product Line Team (PLT) for new and existing products.
Responsibilities include:
$ C, [5 c4 Q5 E# T' F4 k- Operations Owner/Leader of their product(s) – Prototype through End of Life
6 z: F; V& @7 \, Z- Ensure all Operations Groups are fully engaged with new products. This includes manufacturing engineering, manufacturing test, factory management, logistics, materials, packaging, quality, finance and senior management
$ C3 j6 Y! V* ?1 S% q+ l# F- Attend and Drive ECO meeting for their products
: K: [/ G$ _7 g" a2 r- Single Operations point of contact for Engineering, Firmware, Manufacturing Partners (ODM/JDM) and Sales
- Provide communications; Customer Meetings, deep Dives, QBRs, and Launch planning with Customers
- Monitor & Track KEY Program Metrics: Product cost, Yields –MFG Process, Field Performance, and Forecasts vs Actuals
4 U2 V8 {( b% M& s; p" x5 p- Operations Team meetings for New Products in Development: Host, Document, and assign action items
4 O* J4 H1 d- Q% ^- Form Problem Action Teams as required to resolve specific issue
- Generate and maintain operations planning documents for new programs
2 R0 T+ g5 _6 d5 {6 }: j-Work with Early Material Deployment (EMD) team during proto phase of products to ensure availability of critical pre-production units
- Generate & implement product launch & transition plans
Requirements/Qualifications (Education)
( b  I( J$ L- A8 I4 {- Bachelor’s degree w/5 or more years work experience
- 5 or more years experience in NPI and/or production Project/Program Management. Proven ability to launch complex products in an outsourced environment  
- 3-5 years work experience in one of the following: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Test, Materials, Factory Management
