Setting Up Communication With a Viewer3 a. f& {4 V" |# W' e- ]
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between- t; k/ l; i9 D7 N* q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
+ ^2 w/ `, h8 t+ E9 {7 aInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( K8 V6 f0 c8 YBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
