Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

. K) z; d9 g0 I1 J4 O, x* J- tthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* N9 e7 H: m# ]4 w: b6 V
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
/ g# \ m$ E- G; O! ?6 @By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.. _6 ?7 U9 H8 N% O- X5 Q0 Y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* P$ y6 J9 N; t
1. Open the viewer.
/ M8 O; U5 x7 [# ~1 c2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ t/ D6 G+ `0 ~+ n3 ~$ \
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
