If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between4 g) @) T& }4 h$ ?
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 k8 R0 r3 w" X9 G
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.: E# [$ D% Q! q. X6 v( J1 f
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! r0 J# T% l9 Q
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% G5 j' A4 ?6 k& b: }/ I8 C
1. Open the viewer.
5 `) _) I ]* a( a a' p8 `* D2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
\7 N, m* C) a2 X7 T: q7 g3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
