The imaging scientist will be responsible for developing architectures, algorithms, and implementation details for new advanced pixels. " I+ i) {) M4 d1 N3 Q

1. Design and development of image processing algorithms such as demosaicing, denoising, edge-enhancement, bad pixel correction, high dynamic range imaging, adaptive tonal mapping, AE, AWB, AF, still/video image stabilization and other scene analysis based algorithms.
c& \" A% ~0 [ v. \, u9 A7 `2. Work with an ASIC, CMOS process technology, advanced pixel design teams for optimal implementation. ( s2 m: O$ s, Z% j
3. Design in machine vision such as statistical pattern classification, neural networking, scene analysis, facial recognition algorithms ; ^# V8 a5 ^& p* q6 J; K
4. Perform system modeling of camera pipeline components, including imagers and digital image processing modules.
8 a6 t8 c1 Z' p+ W5. Perform signal analysis to evaluate quality of image processing algorithms and systems; Perform analysis and characterization of imaging sensors.

1. Ph.D. in Imaging Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, or related fields # X9 f' l& U* m1 a) t
2. In-depth knowledge of camera image processing pipeline
, q+ u* Z& ]; P' ~1 x; |/ q* Q3 T3. Proficiency in C, C++ and / or Matlab coding to design and run simulations for complex image pipeline
. A o7 C; A8 d1 b6 w' p4. Background in image processing in related industries, such as digital still camera or surveillance camera is a plus

6. Team player with good communication and presentation skills.
