Question on ADC accuracy measurement

When checking the SNR/ENOB of a 10bit ADC circuit, do we need to get as least 1024 sample points? so 4096 for12bit ADC.

In other words, when simulating a 10bit ADC, we have to run a transient analysis with more than 1024*(1/fs) time period.
